Derek & Krista Forseth

Senior Pastor

Derek is a PK (Pastor’s kid); married to a PK; and now a father to four PK’s. He did not necessarily want to be in ministry, so he pursued sociology major with a background in counseling. (He graduated from Adelphi University, Long Island.) Derek was born in Minnesota, grew up in Seattle and lived most of his life in N.Y.
Derek and Krista moved back to Minnesota in 2000. He pastored a “replant” church and is grateful for the opportunity which allowed him to grow. He ventured to Seattle in 2007. Forseth Name means “repairer of ruins” an over comer in difficult situation.

Derek's desire is help the hopeless find HOPE and to see those who are "stuck" get "unstuck"!

His favorite Bible verse is Joshua 1:9

Ed & Grethe Klose

 

Community Life Pastor

Ed was born in New York, and was raised in Long Island NY.
Ed pastored a church in Conn and then moved to Redding, CA to pursue his degree at Simpson University (BA Christian leadership dev). He worked at Simpson for the last 15 years as student activities coordinator then resident director and residence life coordinator.
Ed is married to Grethe who was born in Kristiansend, Norway.
They have two grown children:

Aaron (24) who lives in San Diego and served 4 years in the US Marines.

Hannah (20) who lives in Redding CA and is attending Simpson University, is pursuing a degree in Cross- Cultural Studies.

 

Favorite Bible character is Timothy

Robert & Susan Forseth

 

Seniors Ministry/Visitation Pastor
Robert Forseth was born and raised in Alberta, Canada. He is a farm boy and one of nine children. Pastor Bob felt called into the ministry at an early age and enrolled at Temple Bible College in Edmonton, Alberta.  After graduation, he and two brothers formed the “Forseth Trio” and began his evangelism ministry.
Pastor Bob has traveled to fifty countries on five continents participating in crusades conducted in churches of many denominations.  He has also pastured churches in British Colombia, Minnesota, Washington and Long Island, New York. Pastor Bob was elected a Fellowship Coordinator of the Fellowship of Christian Assemblies USA and traveled extensively both nationally and internationally. He teaches Bible classes and mentors the young men in the church.

 

Pastor Bob is married to Susan and they have five grown children and ten grandchildren.
