2011 Women's retreat - boundaries

 

What a wonderful retreat on Sept. 30 and Oct. 1, 2011!

 

We learned so many life lessons on how God's boundaries are the best boundaries. Women - remember to put into practice what we learned and not let this weekend go by as just another great retreat...make it be a life-changing one by actually using the information from God's word to improve the quality of your relationships!

The Women’s Ministry here at PC relates to women from every stage of life… from the single woman to the married, from the parent to the empty-nester, from the single mother to the one struggling with addictions, PC has something for you!

 

We live in a time where we need to know how to pray effectively, how to study the Word of God and how to share our lives with others.  Our goal is to provide encouragement and support through Bible Studies, Seminars, Retreats and times of fellowship.

 

Our ministry scripture is:
“Then make my joy complete by being like– minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose.  Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves.  Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also the interests of others.”  Philippians 2:2-4

Calico Club

 

The Calico Club invites you to join us for a time of fun and fellowship while we learn a new basic skill each quarter. Calico means: connecting different sections and colors of fabric woven together. It paints a picture of the diversity we have in our church body. Come join in on the next fun event.

 

Wednesday, December 14th from 5:30 - 6:15pm we will be having our Annual Christmas Cookie Exchange during the Wednesday night dinner.

 

If you are interested in participating, just make 4 dozen of your favorite Christmas Cookies to display. We will draw numbers and each person will walk through the line and choose a variety of Christmas cookies to bring back home - all told IF you bring 4 dozen cookies, you WILL bring home 4 dozen different types of cookies.

 

We will have coffee available and have a nice time of fellowship in the Lower Auditorium that evening! Join us!
