Derek & Krista Forseth, Pastor
Derek grew up in the Tukwilla area and then moved with his family to Long Island, New York. Being that his dad was a pastor, Derek saw first hand the hard work and scars of the ministry and he knew for sure that he was NOT going to be a pastor "when he grew up." He attended Boston University and graduated from Adelphi University of New York in 1991 with a degree in Sociology. (He is currently halfway through the Family Counseling Masters Program at the G.W. Post campus of Long Island University.) After renewing his commitment to follow Christ, Derek met his future wife, Krista who had been serving as tour coordinator for the African Children's Choir. Starting in 1994 he worked for the Developmental Disabilities Institute of Smithtown, NY as a counselor/manager for “at risk” adults, with a focus on education, vocation, and coping skills. In 2000 Derek and Krista moved to Howard Lake, Minnesota and pastored a dying church back to health. On July 16th, of 2007 Derek and Krista offically came on staff at PC. We are blessed to have them here along with their three children— Sydney, Gunnar and Annika.

Barry Eggehorn, Worship Pastor
Barry has been on staff since 1999, beginning as a part-time music pastor, and then as youth pastor in 2001. Currently, he focuses most of his attention on music and song writting . Previously he worked part-time in worship ministry in Puyallup, and then Bonney Lake, both in Washington. Barry and Karie were married in 1995, and they have three children—Anders, David, and Joshua. He attended Seattle Bible College from 1993–99.

Amy Turnbull, Office Manager
Amy began working at Philadelphia Church in 2005 to replace Joan Sather who retired at the end of the year. Amy attended Seattle Bible College and gained her managerial experience at Larry's Market. On August 11th (2007) she was married to Jacob Turnbull - a Seattle Bible College graduate from Sandpoint, Idaho.

Cerisa Leach, Administrative Assistant
Cerisa joined the office as secretary in June of 2004. Cerisa and her husband Nick moved up here after she graduated from Fresno State University with a Bachelors degree in English. The two feel that God led them here to Seattle and to become a part of the Philadelphia Church family. Nehemiah 1:10–11.

Pat Brake, Maintenance, Community Outreach Minister
Pat oversees general maintenance for all church properties and is now our new community outreach minister. He married Lori in 1984, and they have four children—Cassie, Kenny, A.J., and Eric. The family relocated to Seattle in 1996 for Pat to attend Seattle Bible College, where he graduated in 2000.

Nina Porter, C.E. Director
Nina moved here from Norway in 1995. She is married and has two children. She spends much of her time directing our Little Feats Preschool which operates Monday through Thursday during the school year. Her faith and vision are truly appreciated.

Joe Henrickson, Youth Pastor
Joe, his wife Jenny and 4 children moved to Seattle in 2004. Joe is native to the Ballard area and has a huge heart for young people. He and his wife have been very instrumental in the development of our new youth cafe located in our youth center. We are excited to see how God is working in their lives!
